- Start with a clean, dry surface that has undergone proper paint correction.
- Wipe down the surface with DIY Detail Panel Prep.
- Wearing gloves and in a well-ventilated area, apply several drops of the coating to the applicator pad.
- Work the coating in a circular motion over a small area (e.g., a front fender).
- Allow the coating to dwell for 2-5 minutes (dwell time varies with temperature and humidity).
- Observe the surface; the coating will transition from a liquid to an "oil slick" appearance as it cross-links.
- When approximately 50% of the surface becomes clear, begin levelling the coating.
- Use a short-nap microfibre towel to lightly wipe the surface. If the towel drags or becomes wet, wait another minute.
- Once levelled, use a plush microfibre towel to buff and remove any high spots.
