The SONAX Profiline EXCUT 05-05 is the perfect kit for restoring ageing plastic headlights, giving them their original clarity and removing yellowing and fogging. It contains enough products to carry out 20 restorations:
- NOe 250ml bottle of Profiline Headlight Polish
- 10 x 5ml sachets of Headlight Protection Coating (one packet coats two headlights)
- An Ultrafine Microfiber Cloth
- A Lambskin Pad
- 15 Polishing Fleece Cloths
- A P-Ball
- Two wet sanding discs (P1000 and P2000).
With this kit you'll ensure significant improvement in light output for a safer driving experience, all with lasting protection so there's no need to do multiple jobs on the same vehicle over the course of a year. Plus, we've included Sonax's pro tip - turn the container upside down once you're done and shake it until the valve is empty to prevent clogging
HOW TO:
A great headlight restoration can save you time & money. Here's how to do it!
STEP ONEUsing masking tape - mask off the area around your headlights.
STEP TWOIt's time to start wet sanding. Attach the supplied P1000 disc to the SONAX hand applicator (Included).
Use a small amount of soap in a spray bottle mixed with water. This will provide the neccessary lubrication for a smooth sanding process.
In straight motions, sand the headlight until all yellowing/haze is removed. Ensure you cover all areas thoroughly.
Repeat step two with the supplied P2000 sanding disc.
Dry headlight thouroughly after this step, the headlight is now ready for polishing,
Attach the supplied wool pad to the SONAX hand applicator.
Apply 4 small dots of the included SONAX Headlight Polish to the wool pad.
Again in straight motions polish the headlight until it becomes glossy & perfectly transparent.
With the headlight now clean & polished. open one satchet of the supplied OSRAM certified headlight coating.
Use satchet for two headlights.
Apply half of the satchet to one of the included SONAX Polishing Cloths.
Apply the coating evenly to the headlight. Wait 30 seconds & gently remove any excess coating.
Repeat for the next headlight & you're all done, enjoy!
